VERNON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – Three juveniles and four adults were charged earlier this month following a drug investigation in Vernon Township.
On May 17 at 7:00 p.m., township officers and the Sussex County Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant on a residence on White Birch Drive West, police said.
The warrant was the result of a narcotics investigation conducted by the Vernon Police Department, police said.
Police seized quantities of marijuana, multiple Marijuana plants, drug paraphernalia and U.S. Currency, police said.
Joseph Hartman, 18, of Vernon, was charged with three counts of fourth-degree distribution of marijuana, three counts of third-degree possession/distribution of a controlled dangerous substance in a school zone, second-degree possession of 10 or more marijuana plants and possession of narcotic paraphernalia
Deborah L. Schwadtke, 41, of Vernon was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of narcotic paraphernalia.
Zachary Schwadtke, 30, of Vernon was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of narcotic paraphernalia.
Angelica Gonzales, 19, of Vernon was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of narcotic paraphernalia.
A 17 year old juvenile was charged with distribution of marijuana, distribution of marijuana in a school zone, possession of 10 or more marijuana plants and possession of narcotic paraphernalia.
Two 17 year old juveniles were charged with possession of marijuana and possession of narcotic paraphernalia.
All were released pending a Superior Court appearance.
