Spend a day in historic Clinton, New Jersey, participating in the first annual Red Mill Retro Ride. Morning Mike welcomed tour organizer Robbie-Lynn Mwangi to the RNJ Morning Program to explain it all. Based loosely on the Tweed Run in London, this leisurely bicycle ride encourages (but doesn’t require) vintage and antique bicycles and costume. The route will be approximately five miles of town roads and trails that begin and end at the iconic Red Mill, where all are welcome to picnic and while away the rest of the day with music, food, vendors, and awards!
The event takes place on Saturday, June 16th, starting at 10:00 a.m. at the Red Mill Museum Village, 56 Main Street, in Clinton. If you register on Friday, June 15th, the cost is only $20 per person, or $60 for the family plan (three or more). If you’d just like to be a spectator of the day, admission is $5. You can sign up on Saturday morning before 10:00 a.m., but the cost will be a bit more.
