NEWTON, NJ (Sussex County) – A Pennsylvania woman has entered a guilty plea to possession of a controlled dangerous substance, according to the prosecutor’s office.
Heather James, 40, of Hawley pled guilty to possession of a controlled dangerous substance before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on June 22.
James allegedly admitted that when she was pulled over, in January, for a motor vehicle violation by Sparta Police, she was in possession of 389 folds of heroin.
Sentencing is presently scheduled for August 3, 2018.
