Your host was the Senior Pastor of Trinity Church in downtown Hackettstown, Rev. Frank Fowler. His in-studio guests were Shannon Albritton from Donaldson Farms, and Christine Sharp Parauda, the LocalShare Coordinator with the Foodshed Alliance. They discussed “Understanding Hunger in New Jersey.”
“Healthier Living” – Tuesday, June 26th @ 10:05 a.m.
Presented by the Hackettstown Medical Center, hosted by Lisa Dimiceli, Manager of Marketing and Public Relations for the Foundation for Hackettstown Medical Center. Lisa’s co-host this month was Carrie Weissman, Business Development Manager for Atlantic Health System serving Hackettstown and Newton Medical Centers. Program guests were Dr. Stephen Bigelsen, a Board Certified Allergy and Immunology Physician, and Stacey Bortnick, Practice Manager, both with Allergy, Asthma & Arthritis Associates. The group discussed allergies, the science behind them, how to manage them, and more.
“Newsline” – Thursday, June 28th @ 10:05 a.m.
In the first portion of the program, WRNJ News Director Joyce Estey welcomed the Chairman of the New Jersey Republican Committee, Doug Steinhardt. As the state heads toward a deadline to have an approved budget, they discussed the fiscal 2019 budget and what battles lie ahead in the November election. In the second half of the program, Joyce spoke with Dr. Seth Cohen, Superintendent of the Clinton-Glen Garden School System, and Jennifer Craig, an Occupational Therapy Doctoral Candidate. Dr. Cohen discussed summer programs and the year in review, while Jennifer discussed a program she is developing to help children feel more comfortable as they attend school for the first time.
