NEWTON, NJ (Sussex County) – A Budd Lake man was sentenced to probation after pleading guilty to burglary and theft charges, according to the prosecutor’s office.
Christopher Faulkner, 28, was sentenced by the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on July 5.
Faulkner broke in to several motor vehicles in Hopatcong taking cash, tools, cell phone charges and other various items in 2016.
Faulkner was sentenced to two years probation, must pay $3,667.14 restitution and $480.00 in court fines and fees.
Faulkner pled guilty on May 21, to five counts of third-degree burglary and one count of third-degree theft.
