MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A Plainsboro man was charged with allegedly engaging in prostitution and possession of drugs Wednesday evening in Mount Olive Township.
Jason Driver, 35, was charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession heroin, possession of Alprazolam, possession of Adderall, possession of Clonazepam, possession of Oxycodone, possession of anabolic steroids, loitering for the purpose of distributing a controlled dangerous substance, possession of syringes, possession of drug paraphernalia and engaging in prostitution.
Rebecca L. Cassimore, 26, of Budd Lake was charged with loitering for the purpose to obtain a controlled dangerous substance.
At around 12:07 a.m., a township officer responded to the area of Budd Lake Heights Road for a report of a suspicious vehicle driving without lights, police said.
The officer observed the vehicle parked in the roadway with just the tail lights illuminating and Cassimore was allegedly leaning into the vehicle, police said.
The officer made contact with Driver and observed several prescription style bottles, without the proper labels, containing medication, police said.
Through a police investigation it was determined that the prescription medications did not belong to Driver. The officer additionally located anabolic steroids, syringes and heroin folds inside Driver’s vehicle, police said.
It was also revealed that Cassimore had a warrant out of Summit for her arrest. She was released on own recognize on the warrant, police said.
Both were charged and released pending a court hearing.
