“Let’s Talk About It” – Monday, July 16th @ 10:05 a.m.
Your host was Dr. Frank Fowler, the Senior Pastor of Trinity Church in downtown Hackettstown. This week Rev. Fowler welcomed several members of the church’s “ASP Team” to the studio; they recently returned from a short term mission trip with the Appalachia Service Project, repairing homes of low-income residents in Clay County, West Virginia. They reflected on “Serving Others: What’s It All About?”
“Educationally Speaking” – Wednesday, July 18th @ 10:05 a.m.
RNJ News Director Joyce Estey was joined by her cohost, Dr. Will Austin, President of Warren County Community College. This was a special edition of the program, as Warren County Community College signed an agreement with Cengage Unlimited, to provide online digital access to textbooks for faculty and students. This arrangement represents a significant savings for the students and the college. In the studio along with Joyce and Dr. Austin, we welcomed Phil Linfante, Chairman of the WCCC Board of Trustees, Warren County Freeholder Director Ed Smith, and, representing Cengage Unlimited, Todd Markson, Chief Strategy Officer, and Thomas Riendau, Business Development Director. New Jersey State Senator Mike Doherty also joined the conversation via the telephone.
