NETCONG BOROUGH, N.J. (Morris County) – A Route 46 gas station has been robbed at gunpoint twice and the police are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspect.
On Tuesday morning at 3:12 a.m.,borough police responded to the Valero gas station, located at the intersection of Route 46 and Route 183, for a report of an armed robbery, police said.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet, 10 inches to 5 feet, 11 inches tall, wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, dark colored shoes, a black mask and glasses, police said.
The suspect left with $180 in cash, fleeing the scene heading east on Route 46 toward Roxbury in a gray four-door sedan, police said.
The same gas station was robbed on July 26 at 3:38 a.m. and the suspect stole approximately $500.There were no injuries reported as the result of this incident, police said
The same person is believed to be responsible for both robberies and another one in mid-July at the Shell gas station on Green Pond Rd in Rockaway Township, police said.

Assisting Netcong were police departments from Stanhope, Roxbury Twp and Mount Olive Twp, also the Morris County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Section and K-9 Units.
