UPDATE: All lanes were open by 9:20 a.m., according to DOT.
ALLAMUCHY TOWNSHIP, N.J.(Warren County) – A dump truck overturned on Interstate 80 Friday morning.
The truck overturned at around 5:30 a.m. on the eastbound lanes near mile marker 22.
Only the right lane is opened and this is causing major traffic delays on Interstate 80. Delays were approaching 2 hours to get through the crash scene.
“Expect delays on Rt46 (Main St) eastbound in Hackettstown due to a motor vehicle crash in Allamuchy Twp on I-80 EB near Mile Marker 22 with only one lane open,” Hackettstown Police said.
No details on injuries at this time.
The Warren County Hazmat Team was also requested to the scene due to diesel fuel that was leaking from the truck.
