MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) – Township police responded to the Kohl’s department store on Saturday, August 27 at 5:10 p.m. for a report of a male and female having “relations” in a fitting room, police said.
When police arrived, a store manager pointed out the individuals to the officer and both were stopped inside the store, police said.
The male and female appeared intoxicated and denied the accusations although the officer noted they were both disheveled, police said.
Complaints didn’t want to be pursued by management but did want them removed from the store, police said.
Jose Gamboa, 21, of Hackettstown was found to be wanted out of Washington Township (Morris County) on a $250.00 warrant. Gamboa was placed under arrest and later released pending a new court date, police said.
The female’s identity was not released.
