ANDOVER TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Sussex County) – The Andover Township Police Department along with the Sussex County Narcotics Task Force arrested a Sussex County man with 150 bags of heroin after a two month investigation, according to police.
Jason L. Wagoner, 38, of Andover Township was stopped on Thursday, September 1 along Newton-Sparta Road in Andover Twp and was found to be in possession of 150 bags of heroin, police said.
Wagoner was charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute and bail was set at $100,000 with no ten percent option. Wagoner was lodged in the Sussex County Jail after failing to post the bail. A bail source hearing is also a requirement of the bail, police said.
Wagoner was the subject of a two month investigation which included a distribution of CDS charge on August 18 in Newton, police said.
Wagoner was arrested in Passaic County on August 19, 2016 and was charged with having 79 Oxycodone pills and having 250 glassines of heroin. Wagoner was charged on a summons and released from those charges, police said.
Also in Passaic County, Wagoner was arrested in August 2013 for CDS distribution charges and was out on $65,000 bail, police said.
