Service has been restored to more than 77,000 customers who lost power as a result of yesterday’s severe wind storm, according to JCP&L

Service to the remaining 13,800 JCP&L customers is expected to be restored by midnight today(4/4/16).

JCP&L reporting 283 customers in Sussex County, 259 customers in Warren County, 952 customers in Morris County and 716 customers in Hunterdon County are without power.

The extreme wind gusts experienced today resulted in hundreds of locations with downed trees, limbs or branches, and hampered utility crews’ efforts to restore customers.

Customers who remain without power on Monday evening are encouraged to call 1-888-LIGHTSS (844-544-4877) or click the “Report Outage” link on www.jcp-l.com.
