HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Warren County) -Just in time for the presidential debate a 28 year old Hackettstown man decorates his front lawn with political signage, the problem is he allegedly took the signs from someone else’s front yard. Saturday afternoon police responded to a Main Street residence and determined that the”Trump /Pence” sign and another reading “Hillary for Prison” were stolen from the front lawn. The homeowner had surveillance footage of the theft that occurred on Friday. On Sunday a patrolling officer spotted the signs on a property on East Valley View Ave. Police noted that the same vehicle seen on the surveillance video was parked in the driveway. Police determined that Christopher Buckley stole the signs to place on his lawn. Buckley’s charged with disorderly conduct and released pending a court appearance. The signs were returned to the rightful owner.
