RNJ News Programs, Oct. 3-6, 2016

“Let’s Talk About It” – Monday, Oct. 3rd @ 10:05 a.m.

Rev. Frank Fowler was joined by Ben Eskow, Director, Warren County Habitat for Humanity bringing youth and adults together to restore homes,  community, and hope.

“Inside Centenary” – Tuesday, Oct. 4th @ 10:05 a.m.

During the first portion of the program, RNJ News Anchor Tom O’Halloren spoke with Richard Hinchliffe, the new Director of WNTI.ORG, the university’s Internet radio station. Chris Snow, a student majoring in Communication, Television and Radio, was also on hand. During the second half of the program, three guests discussed the Centenary Downtown Mathematics Tutoring Service. Joining Tom were Kathy Turrisi, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, Barbara Henderson, a math tutor, and student Jessica Ervey.

Local Impact” – Wednesday, Oct. 5th @ 10:05 a.m.

RNJ News Director Joyce Estey is joined by her co-hosts, Former Assembly Speaker Chuck Haytaian and Independence Township Mayor Bob Giordano.

This week’s guest was New Jersey Herald columnist Rob Jennings, offering his perspective on a number of political fronts, from the presidential campaign, to local congressional and other races, and even the state gas tax.

“Newsline” – Thursday, Oct. 6th @ 10:05 a.m.

In the first portion of the program, WRNJ News Director Joyce Estey welcomed Hackettstown drug and alcohol counselor Harry Zerler, exploring some of the underlying factors that have taken this nation down the dark path of opioid addiction. In the second half of the program, Joyce was joined by Seth Cohen, Superintendent of the Clinton Public Schools, and two educators, telling us more about the 2017 Future Cities Challenge their students are working on.
