MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) – Two people have been arrested after they allegedly stole guns, an assault rifle, cash and other items from a township home.
The victims reported on October 4, that two generators, power tools, and cash were taken from their Parkway Drive residence. The victims also stated, that on two separate occasions two different credit cards belonging to them were used to make purchases, police said.
As authorities investigated further, the victims advised that they had discovered that there were also guns missing from the residence. The guns were identified as a 9mm handgun, a .357 caliber handgun, and an assault rifle, police said.
Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that Crystal A. Ryno, 28, of Hopatcong, NJ and Robert A. Wilson, 28, of Stanhope, NJ were responsible for the thefts, police said.
Mount Olive Detectives along with the assistance from the Blairstown Police Department, located Ryno and Wilson at a residence on Saturday, October 8 in Blairstown Township.
Ryno was charged with unlawful possession of weapons, possession of a rifle or shotgun without an ID card, theft of movable property, and credit card Fraud. Ryno was lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility on $30,000.00 bail with a ten percent option.
Wilson was charged with unlawful possession of weapons, possession of a rifle or shotgun without an ID card, theft of movable property, certain persons not to have weapons, and credit card fraud. Wilson was lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility on $50,000.00 bail with a ten percent option.
