Bicyclist killed after being struck by a box truck in Mansfield Twp.

MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) – Police are investigating after a bicyclist was hit and killed on Monday afternoon.

At 3:35 p.m., township police and emergency services responded to Route 57 and the entrance of the Shoppes at Mansfield on the report of a box truck vs bicyclist accident, police said.

Richard S. Paszkowski, 47, of Washington, NJ was transported by Atlantic Air One to the Morristown Medical Center and later succumbed to his injuries, police said.

The accident investigation is ongoing and is being conducted by the Mansfield Township Police Department with assistance from the Warren County Prosecutors Officer Serious Crash Analysis Reconstruction Team.

Assisting at the scene was the Mansfield Emergency Squad, Tri-County Fire Department, Mt. Bethel Fire Department, St. Clare’s Paramedics.
