HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Warren County) – The woman who authorities say was involved in a pair of robberies in Hackettstown has been arrested.

Kayla C. Rodriguez, 20, of Scranton, P.A. was arrested on Thursday in the 1300 block of Schlager St in Scranton. A joint task force comprised of Hackettstown, Washington Township, Warren County and Scranton police officers located and captured Rodriguez, police said.

Rodriguez on two dates in June allegedly helped her boyfriend, 20-year-old Franklin L. Williams Jr. of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., commit the crimes. On June 19, she allegedly scouted a friend’s home and alerted Williams when he could enter. On June 27, police say she called a friend to help her with her car, and an armed Williams ambushed him, police said.

Rodriguez is charged with two counts of robbery, one count of burglary and conspiracy charges. She is lodged in the Lackawanna County Prison and is awaiting extradition to Warren County. Her bail has been set at $250,000.

Williams was arrested Nov. 30 and is charged with two counts of robbery, one count of burglary, aggravated assault, attempted kidnapping and related charges. He was released under 24-hour medical care while he awaits a court date, police said.

Rodriguez is lodged in the Lackawanna County Prison and will wait extradition to the Warren County Correctional Facility.
