At 9:52 p.m. on December 9, township police responded to King’s Highway in reference to a motor vehicle crash, police said.

Upon arrival to the scene, officers located an Audi sedan that had crashed into a utility pole on the shoulder of the roadway, police said.

An investigation by police, identified the driver as Jessica R. Lavorgna. She was found to be exhibiting signs that she had been consuming alcoholic beverages prior to operating her vehicle, police said.

She was requested to complete standard field sobriety tests, which she did not pass, and was placed under arrest, police said.

Lavorgna was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, failure to keep right, failure to produce a driver’s license and possession of under 50 grams of marijuana.
