“Let’s Talk About It” – Monday, Feb. 6th @ 10:05 a.m.
On this edition of “Let’s Talk About It,” Susan Manhire was your guest host, sitting in for Rev. Frank Fowler. Her guests were retired fireman Don Guelich, retired EMT Alice Popelka, and volunteer fireman Pat Curtin. They discussed the role of First Responders and “Helping in Crisis.”
“Inside Centenary” – Tuesday, Feb. 7th @ 10:05 a.m.
During the first portion of the program, RNJ News Anchor Tom O’Halloren welcomed Zac Huxford, Career Development Assistant and Assistant Wrestling Coach, and Josh Walker, Director of Career Development, to discuss the upcoming Centenary University Career Fair. In the second half of the program, Devon Vialva, Director of EOP, was joined by two members of the Alumni Association Executive Board, with news of a presentation by Reverend Sanders on “Social Justice” as Centenary University marks Black History Month.
“Help Brings Hope” – Wednesday, Feb. 8th @ 10:05 a.m.
Presented by the Family Guidance Center of Warren County, RNJ News Director Joyce talks with staff and guests about the services available to Warren County residents. This month’s program featured the services available to family members of individuals with a serious mental illness. In studio guests were Jamie Grosslicht, Coordinator of Intensive Family Support Services, Darrell Buckner, Coordinator of the Crisis Intervention Unit, and Barbara Lear, Coordinator of Rehabilitation Services.
“Newsline” – Thursday, Feb. 9th @ 10:05 a.m.
In the first portion of the program, WRNJ News Director Joyce Estey interviewed Jean Sinzdak, Director of the Center for American Women in Politics at Rutgers University. In an effort to increase the number female career politicians in New Jersey, they discussed a new “Ready to Run” program. In the second half of the program Joyce welcomed Mount Olive Schools Superintendent Dr. Larrie Reynolds to talk about a group of students from China who will spend their senior year studying at Mount Olive High School.
