Hackettstown man arrested for distribution of heroin, prosecutor says

HUNTERDON COUNTY, NJ – A Hackettstown man was arrested and is harged with distribution of heroin out of Hunterdon County.

Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III, Chief of Detectives John J. Kuczynski and New Jersey State Police Washington Barracks Station Commander Lt. Dan Dalrymple announced the arrest of one individual after a joint investigation by the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office Guns, Gangs and Narcotics Task Force and the New Jersey State Police Washington Barracks.

According to Prosecutor Kearns, “On February 8, 2017, Daryl K. Cooper, 34, of Hackettstown, NJ, was arrested and charged with third degree distribution of heroin.

There was no information released about the investigation.

Cooper was lodged in the Somerset County Jail and is awaiting his first court appearance.
