RNJ News Programs, Apr. 3-6, 2017

“Let’s Talk About It” – Monday, April 3rd @ 10:05 a.m.

Rev. Frank Fowler was joined by acting teacher and author Lynn Singer, to discuss “Unleashing Your Creative Self.” Lynn has taught acting, speech and voice at Yale, NYU, The New School, Circle in the Square, The Actors and Directors Lab, the Gene Frankel Theater and at the T. Schreiber Studio in New York City. She works with a wide range of clients, from Tony, Emmy, Golden Globe, Pulitzer Prize and Fulbright winners, to Fortune 500 companies and top business and management executives.

“Inside Centenary” – Tuesday, April 4th @ 10:05 a.m.

This edition of the program focused on Earth Day celebrations at Centenary University and the Sports Management trip to Manchester, England. During the first portion of the program, RNJ News Anchor Tom O’Halloren welcomed Dr. Krassi Lazarova, Associate Professor of Physics, and student Amy Miller, to discuss the University’s Earth Day plans. In the second half of the program, Tom spoke with Dr. David Perricone, Assistant Professor of Sports Management, and students Seth Barofski, Amanda Burns, Sebastian Hernandez, Amber Sporer, and Amy Vanartsdalen, about the Sports Management trip to Manchester, England.

Local Impact” – Wednesday, April 5th @ 10:05 a.m.

RNJ News Director Joyce Estey and her co-hosts, Former Assembly Speaker Chuck Haytaian and Independence Township Mayor Bob Giordano, welcomed Warren County Freeholder Dir. Rick Gardner to the studio. Discussion topics included the county budget, the county library system, and the challenges facing the county with the forecast for flat revenues in coming years.

“Newsline” – Thursday, April 6th @ 10:05 a.m.

In the first portion of the program, WRNJ News Director Joyce Estey welcomed Chris Blaylock, the driving force behind the website usbailreform.com, with the goal of providing updates on Criminal Justice Reform issues. New Jersey’s recently passed bail reform bill remains very controversial. In the second half of the program Joyce welcomed Allamuchy Township Superintendent of Schools, Joe Flynn, to talk about the “haves” and the “have nots” in next years spending plan.
