HOPE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – Two people were hurt in a single-car crash in Hope Township Tuesday afternoon, according to the Hope Township Fire Department.
The crash happened on the 400 block of Silver Lake Marksboro Road at 12:39 p.m.
A 27-year-old female allegedly lost control of her vehicle, which then left the road and hit a tree.
The Hope Fire Department, Blairstown ambulance and the Saint Clare’s paramedics responded to the scene. The female driver was found being assisted by passerby’s on the side of the road.
The fire department tended to the patients prior to the ambulance arriving at the scene. The driver was transported to the Pocono Medical Center and it’s unknown if the other patient was transported to the hospital.
Firefighters also cleaned up several fluid spills.
The NJ State Police closed the road for about a half hour.
