MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – Two men were arrested last Saturday evening after they allegedly were smoking marijuana on their way to Pizza Hut.
On July 15, at 8:02 p.m., township police were dispatched to Pizza Hut on the report of two males who were “severely under the influence,” police said in news release on Friday.
An officer stopped the men as they were walking to their vehicle and determined that both men were allegedly smoking marijuana while driving to the store, police said.
Ryan D. Lawler, 18, of Blairstown, NJ was charged with DUI, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, underage possession of alcoholic beverages and being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance.
Kevin G. MacBride, 25, of Middletown, NJ was charged with being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance.
They were both released to a responsible adult pending a court appearance.
