Allamuchy Twp, NJ (Warren County) – New Jersey State Police have launched an investigation into a homicide that occurred in the Panther Valley section of Allamuchy Township this morning(3/19/16). According to radio reports, State police located a man killed in a home on Alexander Road. NJSP reportedly have a female in custody and a gun has been recovered. The female,who called police,allegedly told officers on scene that she “shot” the victim, according to radio reports. New Jersey State Police major crimes was notified. UPDATE: According to Prosecutor Richard Burke, police were called to the home at about 4 a.m.
Burke didn’t identify the victim, saying the family must still be notified. An autopsy is planned later today. Burke said the public is not in any danger.
