Allamuchy Twp, NJ (Warren County) – The investigation continues into a homicide that occurred at about 4 a.m. Saturday morning at a home on Alexander Rd in the Panther Valley section of Allamuchy Twp.
According to Warren County Prosecutor Richard Burke, Gage Theard,24, of the 6500 block of Sinclair St in Milton, Florida was struck in the upper torso by two rounds from a 9mm handgun.
The suspect is a woman who lived in the home and no charges have been filled, Burke said. Theard and the suspect are not blood related but investigators are still trying to determine the exact relationship.
The suspect’s family lives at the home but no one was home when the incident occurred, Burke said.
According to Burke, investigators are still determining why the suspect and Theard were at the home, also the suspect was not taken into custody.
Investigators have not yet determined whose gun was used or if the firearm was registered to someone that lived in the residence, Burke said.
