“Let’s Talk About It” – Monday, Oct. 9th @ 10:05 a.m. 

Your host is Rev. Frank Fowler, Senior Pastor of Trinity Church in downtown Hackettstown. Rev. Fowler welcomed scientist and author John D. Carter to the program to discuss his observations on the “Moral Decline In Western Culture.”

“Help Brings Hope” – Wednesday, Oct. 11th @ 10:05 a.m.

Presented by the Family Guidance Center of Warren County, RNJ News Director Joyce talks with staff and guests about the services available to Warren County residents. This October marks the second annual National Substance Abuse Prevention Month – an observance to highlight the vital role of substance abuse prevention in both individual and community health and to remember those who have lost their lives to substance abuse. Guests included Mary Jo Harris, the Coordinator for the Coalition for Healthy and Safe Communities; Sarah Paramant,  Warren County Department of Health Epidemiologist and Chair of the Coalition; and Warren County Prosecutor Richard Burke.

“Newsline” – Thursday, Oct. 12th @ 10:05 a.m.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and in the first portion of the program, WRNJ News Director Joyce Estey welcomed Jill Zinckgraf and Pam Drager from the Domestic And Sexual Assault Crisis Center of Warren County. In the second half of Newsline, Joyce talked with Ken Krieg, author of “Little Two,” a children’s book about a little girl as she learns an important lesson about “all things in moderation.”
