HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – A 16-year-old male student has been charged after he allegedly gave another student two Xanax pills Wednesday morning.
The 16-year-old was charged with distribution of Xanax, possession with intent to distribute Xanax, possession of Xanax and distribution in a school zone.
At 11:52 a.m., town police responded to Hackettstown High School, located at 599 Warren St, in reference to possible narcotic activity, police said
The male student allegedly gave a female student two Xanax pills while inside the school, police said.
He was released to his parent pending a court appearance.
