MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A Newton man was charged last week after he was allegedly found with LSD, police said.
Edward J. Todd, 20, was charged with possession of LSD.
On November 16 at 2:34 p.m., a township police detective was on routine patrol when he observed Todd walking along Wolfe Road and throw a paper bag on the ground, police said.
The detective stopped Todd and it was discovered that he had an active $700.00 Washington Township warrant. Todd was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters, police said.
Todd was searched and police found a foil paper containing a suspected LSD tab, police said.
Todd was unable to post the bail and was then lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility pending a court hearing.
