HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – A 23-year-old Allamuchy Township man was charged Christmas Eve for allegedly throwing a lit cigarette, which then hit an officer’s head.
Peter Cesarski was charged with disorderly conduct.
At 1:28 a.m., town police responded to Bea McNally’s, located at 109 Grand Ave, for a report of an unconscious female inside the business, police said.
While the officer was walking into the building, the officer was struck on the top of his head with a lit cigarette, police said.
Through a police investigation, they determined that Cesarski threw the cigarette, police said.
Cesarski was released pending a court appearance.
