RNJ News Director Joyce Estey is joined by her cohosts, Former Assembly Speaker Chuck Haytaian and Independence Township Mayor Bob Giordano. On the first program of 2018, 23rd District Assemblyman John Di Maio (R) was the guest. With a new Democratic governor taking office in just a few days, and with Democrats holding a majority in both houses, Di Maio discussed what he sees as New Jersey’s biggest challenges in the year ahead.

In the first portion of the program, WRNJ News Director Joyce Estey welcomed Dr. Tony Iacono, president of County College of Morris, discussing the economic impact the community college has on Morris County and the future of education at the institution. In the second half of the program, Joyce kept the education theme going with guests from the Allamuchy School District. Superintendent of Schools Joseph E. Flynn, Physical Education Teacher Nicholas Serraino, and parent Rich Sharrett discussed outdoor education programs.
