Second Annual Belvidere HS Senior Class Mattress Sale

Clik here to view.On Wednesday, Morning Mike caught up with Belvidere High School Teacher and Senior Class Advisor Charlie Zetterstrom, who shared details about the Class of 2018’s fundraiser. The Belvidere High School Class of 2018 is going to Disney, and the High School Music Program is traveling to Boston. To raise money for transportation costs for students, they are holding their Second Annual Mattress Sale at the school, on Saturday, January 20th, from 10:00 a.m until 3:00 p.m. Charlie noted that the Mattress Fundraiser is a unique opportunity – much different than selling cookies, magazine subscriptions, etc. – and everyone needs a mattress. They partner with a firm that brings in high-quality, brand name mattresses into the school cafeteria or gymnasium, offers then at competitive prices, and gives a substantial portion of the proceeds back to the school.
