ANDOVER TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – The Andover Township Police Department is investigating the theft of two trailers which were primarily used for storing racing supplies and vehicles.

The thefts allegedly occurred between midnight and 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2018, police said.

A dual wheel pickup truck with marker lights on top and marker lights over the wheel well area is suspected to be involved with both trailers being removed within an hour from each other, police said.

The first trailer is described as a triple axle grey trailer with MSA and Mark Scordato & Associates markings on three sides. This trailer was taken from a business along Newton-Sparta Road, police said.

The second trailer is described as a 28 foot white Vintage Outlaw trailer. This trailer was taken from a local business along Stickles Pond Road, police said.

It’s unknown what the trailers contained, police said.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Andover Police Department at 973-383-5544. All calls will remain anonymous.
