On a recent edition of the RNJ Morning Program, Morning Mike spoke with Jackie Pignataro, a former Mount Olive resident. Now living in Pennsylvania because of her job, Jackie is part of a team running in the United Airlines New York City Half Marathon (13.1 miles) on Sunday, March 18th. By participating as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) “Team In Training (TNT)”, Jackie is raising funds to help find cures and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients. Donations will be used to help fund treatments that save lives every day, like immunotherapies that use a person’s own immune system to kill cancer.
