On Thursday, Morning Mike was able to nab a few minutes with Melissa Flynn, the Operations Manager of the Warren County Habitat for Humanity ReStore. In the past year, Warren County Habitat for Humanity had the opportunity to move to a new, larger location, one better suited to their needs. Melissa Flynn joined Mike to share the details of the Rand Re-Opening this Saturday, Feb. 24th. The new location is at 384 Route 57 West, in Washington; many will recognize this as the old Shop Rite building. The Ribbon Cutting takes place at 9:00 a.m. Stay to “shop ‘til you drop” and draw a mystery discount of 15%, 25% or 50% off. Refreshments will help you keep up your shopping strength.

Saturday is also the final day for the auction of the ReStore Toy Solder. He is 16’ tall by 4’ wide and has graced the entrance to the old store for several years. Sadly, there is no room to display him in the new location, so he will be sold to the highest bidder. You can place a bid in-person at the ReStore, through Facebook Messenger “Warren County Habitat for Humanity ReStore”, or by email to ReStore@warrenhabitat.org. The auction will end at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.

The ReStore sells furniture, décor, household goods, building supplies, rugs, appliances and more. The mission of the ReStore is to help Warren County Habitat for Humanity build homes for local qualified low income families and reduce waste by recycling or reclaiming materials that would otherwise be discarded.
