“Let’s Talk About It” – Monday, March 19th @ 10:05 a.m.
Your host is Rev. Frank Fowler, the Senior Pastor of Trinity Church in downtown Hackettstown. Rev. Fowler’s guest was Colonel Patrick Callahan, Hackettstown area resident and Superintendent of the New Jersey State Police. Colonel Callahan presented an overview of the Superintendent’s job, and discussed “Safety and Security in New Jersey.”
“Educationally Speaking” – Wednesday, March 21st @ 10:05 a.m.
RNJ News Director Joyce Estey was joined by her cohost, Dr. Will Austin, President of Warren County Community College. Dianne Czar, the Allied Health Program Coordinator, talked about the College’s new Grooming Assistant, Pharmacy Tech, and Pharmacy Compounding programs. Genevieve Vasko serves as Confidential Senior Executive Administrative Assistant to the President as well as advisor to Phi Theta Kappa, the national honors fraternity. WCCC’s chapter recently received several awards. Tiffani Warren is the college’s new Dean of Learning and she spoke about WCCC’s Educational Opportunity Program.
“Newsline” – Thursday, March 22nd @ 10:05 a.m.
In the first portion of the program, WRNJ News Director Joyce Estey welcomed Brittany Rockenfeller of Pass It Along, a non-profit organization working in northern New Jersey committed to helping teenagers become confident, resilient and compassionate through self-discovery, volunteerism and leadership. In the second portion of Newsline, Joyce welcomed three educators from the Mountain Villa School in Allamuchy. Assistant Principal Melissa Sabol, School Nurse Danielle Pulvert, and Physical Education Teacher Nick Serriano discussed the Healthy Schools initiative.
