DOVER, NJ (Morris County) – The driver a private ambulance has been ticketed in a crash that seriously injured a 27-year-old man this afternoon, according to Dover Public Safety Director Daniel DeGroot
The driver of the Patriot Care ambulance, a 25-year-old female, has been charged with careless driving.
The crash occurred on Pequannock Street between Route 46 and Clinton Street at 3:22 p.m., DeGroot said.
According to a witness on scene, the motorcycle was traveling north when the ambulance , which was travelling south, turned left in front of motorcycle, DeGroot said.
The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries to his left leg and was transported to Morristown Medical Center for treatment, DeGroot said.
The names of the individuals involved in the crash were not released.
