“Let’s Talk About It” – Monday, May 21st @ 10:05 a.m. 

Rev. Frank Fowler was away this week, so your guest host was Shawn Fuller, founder of Jordon Coaching Solutions. Shawn’s in-studio guests were Mary Jo Harris, from the Coalition for Healthy and Safe Communities, and Stephen Spears, Director of Security for Hackettstown Schools. They discussed “Social Media and Cell Phone Addiction in Youth.”

In the first portion of the program, WRNJ News Director Joyce Estey covered Memorial Day weekend events in Hackettstown. Joan Westpy, from the Hackettstown Rotary Club, shared details on the Memorial Motor Madness Car Show, held on Sunday on the grounds of Mars Wrigley Confectionery on High Street. Don Hendershot and Fred Stetler , from American Legion Post #164, outlined the plans for Hackettstown’s 150th Annual Memorial Day Parade, taking place on Monday. In the second half of the program Joyce welcomed Megan Wades, a Counselor, and Rachael Coates, a Special Education Teacher in the Washington Borough School District, to talk about the “Coffee Cart” program implemented with 5th and 6th grade students.
