RNJ News Programs, the week of June 18th, 2018

“Let’s Talk About It” – Monday, June 18th @ 10:05 a.m. 

Your host is Rev. Frank Fowler, Senior Pastor of Trinity Church in downtown Hackettstown. Rev. Fowler’s in-studio guest was Phil Timbrell this week, to discuss  “Reflections on Fatherhood.”

“Educationally Speaking” – Wednesday, June 20th @ 10:05 a.m.

RNJ News Director Joyce Estey is joined by her cohost, Dr. Will Austin, President of Warren County Community College. During the first portion of the program, three guests from the college’s board of trustees – Chair Dr. Phil Linfante, Nancy Brown, and Yvonne Reitemeyer – talked about the “Golden Eagles Safety Nest” initiative, assisting students with food insecurity. They also reviewed the college’s accomplishments in the Middle States Report, and the ranking of the Nursing Program. In the second half of the program, Eve Azar, Vice President of corporate and Continuing Education, discussed Youth Enrichment and Summer Camps, and the college’s certificate programs.

“Newsline” – Thursday, June 21st @ 10:05 a.m.

In the first portion of the program, WRNJ News Director Joyce Estey talked with 

Rich and Denise McGuire, two of the organizers for the “Washington Celebrates America” event, a tradition in Warren County. They shared details of the full day of activities taking place on Wednesday, July 4th. In the second half of the program Joyce welcomed Dr. Jon Connolly, the President of Sussex County Community College, discussing the college’s past, present, and future.
