RNJ News Director Joyce Estey and cohost Independence Township Mayor Bob Giordano were joined by Frank Van Horn of Knowlton Township and Mary Conti of the New Jersey Nature Conservancy. Discussions included the controversial state plans to remove dams in Knowlton, and replace farmland with vernal pools in Independence.

In the first portion of the program, WRNJ News Director Joyce Estey welcomed Morris County Freeholder Deborah Smith to discuss New Jersey’s current gun control laws, and some new legislation pending in Trenton. In the second half of the program Joyce welcomed Seth Cohen, Superintendent in the Clinton-Glen Gardner school district, to discuss the completion of the Strategic Plan, the use of a school-wide theme, and current trends in education such as maker spaces.
