NJ man involved in New Year’s Day stabbing sentenced to prison

FLEMINGTON, NJ (Hunterdon County) – Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns III announced Ciro V. Perrone, 33, of Raritan Township was sentenced to seven years in State Prison by the Honorable Angela F. Borkowski, J.S.C.

Perrone plead guilty on May 25, to second-degree aggravated assault, Kearns said.

Perrone was arrested on January 5 following a stabbing on January 1 in Raritan Township.

“I would like to commend the law enforcement officers and detectives from the Raritan Township Police Department and the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office for their dedication and hard work in this case. I would also like to thank Assistant Prosecutor David Culley for his efforts,” Kearns said.
