SUSSEX COUNTY, N.J. – New Jersey State Police have identified the man, who allegedly burglarized a shed in Frankford Township and an American Legion in Branchville Borough, thanks to tips they received as a result from a July 8 social media post.
Troopers and Detectives from the Sussex station were able to identify the suspect as Christopher Bela Miller, 19, of Canadensis, P.A., police said.
On Tuesday, July 5 between 12:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. Miller allegedly burglarized a shed behind the Frankford Car Wash and stole several items. Miller then burglarized the American Legion in Branchville Borough causing damage to exterior doors and windows and interior doors and windows, police said.
On Tuesday, July 19, Christopher Miller was charged with burglary, criminal mischief, and criminal trespass, police said.
Miller’s whereabouts are currently unknown. Anyone with information about asked to contact Sussex Station Detective I J. DeLorenzo at 973-383-1514. Anonymous tips are welcome., police said.
