NEWTON, N.J. (Sussex County) – A former Marshalls store employee admitted in Sussex County Court on Monday to stealing $31,500 worth of merchandise from the store, Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch said.
Judy Holgate, 52, of Dingmans Ferry, PA, pled guilty to fourth degree Theft, Koch said.
Holgate admitted that over a period of time from 2011 through 2016, she took $31,500.00 worth of merchandise while employed at Marshalls. At times Holgate would return the merchandise for store credit or cash, Koch said.
Holgate is scheduled for sentencing on September 23, 2016 and she is required to make full restitution.
