Rev. Frank Fowler welcomed teacher and local resident David Blazier to discuss “Reflections on Africa.” David just returned from a mission trip to Tanzania.
“Inside Centenary” – Tuesday, Aug. 9th @ 10:05 a.m.
This week’s program focused on the Summer Science Project and the upcoming Community Plunge. During the first portion of the program, RNJ News Anchor Tom O’Halloren welcomed Dr. Lauren Bergey, Associate Professor of Biology and Chair of the Mathematics and Natural Sciences Department, and research students Kate Arnao and Holli Eckerd about the Summer Science Project at Centenary University. In the second half of the program, Tom spoke with Allison Galvin, Director of Student Programming, Caitlin Giordano, Director of the First & Second Year Experience at Centenary University, and student Lisa Wilbur about the University’s Community Plunge.
“Help Brings Hope” – Wednesday, Aug. 10th @ 10:05 a.m.
Presented by the Family Guidance Center of Warren County, RNJ News Director Joyce talked with Executive Director Richard McDonnell Associate Executive Director Bill Stover and Director of Program Services Laurie Boehm about the stigma surrounding mental health issues, how this prevents many from getting the help they need, and ways to overcome this, clearing a path to treatment.

In the first portion of the program, WRNJ News Director Joyce Estey welcomed Tamela Lester, founder of Barnyard Sanctuary, Warren County’s quintessential home for unwanted or mistreated farm animals. In the second half of the program, Mansfield Township School Superintendent Ed Kemp discussed a summer construction project and other details involving September school readiness.
