BLAIRSTOWN TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Warren County) – Marching bands from around New Jersey and Pennsylvania took to the field at North Warren Regional High School’s “Music Under the Stars” Festival held on Saturday, October 15.
The Hackettstown High School Tiger Marching Band took first place, according to Christopher Zwarych Director of Bands at Hackettstown High School.
The marching band also received special awards for best music, best visual performance, best overall effect and best percussion, Zwarych said.
Last month, the Hackettstown High School Tiger Marching Band took first place and received special awards for best visual performance, best overall effect, best colorguard and best percussion at Vernon Township High School’s “Music in the Mountains” Festival.
The band will travel to the Richard Wackar Stadium in Glassboro, N.J. on Sunday, October 23 for the USBands New Jersey State Championships.
