The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office was notified by the Parsippany-Troy Hills Police Department of a motor vehicle crash that occurred within their township on North Beverwyck Road during the night of October 25, 2016. The crash involved a single vehicle that struck a pedestrian. The pedestrian was subsequently pronounced deceased.
At this time, there are no criminal charges that have been filed. The investigation of this matter is ongoing, and no additional information will be released at this time, to include the identity of the persons involved.
This matter is currently being investigated by the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office – Major Crimes Unit, the Parsippany-Troy Hills Police Department, the Morris County Sheriff’s Office – Criminal Investigation Section, and the Morris County Medical Examiner’s Office.
