2 arrested following 1-month drug investigation in Warren County

PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. (Warren County) – Two Warren County residents were arrested on drug charges after a one month undercover investigation into the distribution of controlled dangerous substances concluded earlier this month.

On October 14, Paul J Madlock, 27, of Phillipsburg and Alisha Zeigler, 34, of Phillipsburg were charged with various narcotics related offenses, Warren County Prosecutor Richard Burke said,

The investigation was conducted by the Phillipsburg Police Department, Drug Enforcement Administration and the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office, Narcotics Task Force. The Warren County Tactical Response Team assisted in executing the search warrant at the defendants’ residence, located at 265 Prospect St in Phillipsburg, Burke said.

Madlock was charged with one count of second degree distribution of methamphetamine, one count second degree possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine and one count third degree possession of methamphetamine.

Zeigler was charged with one count of fourth degree possession of Trazodone, one count fourth degree possession of Lorazepam and one count fourth degree possession of Buspirone.

Madlock and Zeigler’s first appearance on the charges was held Monday, October 24 at the Warren County Court House.
