ALLENTOWN, P.A. – Marching bands from across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Massachusetts, New York and Connecticut took to the field at J. Birney Crum Stadium in Allentown, Pennsylvania for the USBands National Championship held on Sunday, November 6.
The Tiger Marching Band finished 5th out of 24 bands and had the highest individual music score out of all 24 bands, according to Christopher Zwarych Director of Bands at Hackettstown.
The band concludes their season also having placed 8th in the NJ State Championships, Zwarych said.
The marching band also earned multiple accolades at local competitions including two first place finishes, one second place finish, one award for best music, two awards for best overall effect, two awards for best colorguard, three awards for best visual performance and three awards for best percussion, Zwarych said.
