Visit CANDYLAND with your 3 to 10 year old on Sunday, January 22 when the Hackettstown High School Key Club teams up with the Kiwanis Club of Hackettstown for the annual Mini Winter Carnival in the high school gymnasium from noon to 4 pm.
There will be games and activities, plus a bounce house and giant slide, with plenty of prizes during this family event designed to ease cabin fever for the families of our littlest friends kept indoors by harsh winter weather. Activities are offered at minimal cost to keep the event wallet-friendly and accessible. Include lunch in your plans: The Hackettstown Kiwanis Club offers a delicious selection of lunch and other refreshments for sale in the cafeteria.
Bob Pruznick, Arc CEO, says that the annual Carnival is a way for students and families of young children to become acquainted with The Arc, which provides quality services and supports to children and adults with intellectual disabilities throughout Warren County. The carnival also helps raise funds in support of the Kiwanis cabin at The Arc’s Camp Warren.
Admission is $1.50 ages 3 and older, and activity tickets can be purchased at the door. This is a snow or shine event. For more information, please call The Arc at 908-689-7525. Interested in running a game or activity to add to the fun? Let us know by January 15, please.
