Hosted by Rev. Frank Fowler, Senior Pastor of Trinity Church in downtown Hackettstown. Rev. Fowler’s spoke with psychotherapist and author Mark Sichel, discussing “Healing From Family Rifts.”
“Help Brings Hope” – Wednesday, Sept. 13th @ 10:05 a.m.
Presented by the Family Guidance Center of Warren County, RNJ News Director Joyce talks with staff and guests about the services available to Warren County residents. With the start of a new school year, Family Guidance Crisis Intervention members discussed student transitions that can come with a new school environment, understanding how those transitions can affect students, and what responses can help ease a student toward success.
“Newsline” – Thursday, Sept. 14th @ 10:05 a.m.
In the first portion of the program, WRNJ News Director Joyce Estey welcomed Gary Whyte, an advocate for Fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva (F.O.P.), an extremely rare connective tissue disease. (There are about 250 known cases nationally, and 7 known cases in New Jersey.) He is visiting all 565 municipalities in the state to get a proclamation promoting awareness. In the second half of the program Joyce welcomed Washington Township (Morris County) Superintendent Jeffrey Mohre to talk about goals and new programs introduced for the 2017-18 school year.
