MORRIS COUNTY:
FLANDERS – the Mount Olive Community Christmas Tree Lighting will be on Friday, December 8th at 7:00pm at the Mount Olive Township Municipal Building, Flanders Drakestown Road.
FLANDERS – the Mount Olive Community Menorah Lighting will be on Tuesday, December 12th at 6:30pm at the Mount Olive Township Municipal Building, Flanders Drakestown Road. There will be Jewish music, hot latkas, donuts and dreidels.
LONG VALLEY – Christmas celebration by the Chester Baroque under the direction of Dr. Richard Maximoff, Musical Director. The program featuring Corelli Christmas Concerto and other holiday baroque favorites. Concert on Sunday, November 26th at 4pm at the Zion Lutheran Church, 11 Schooley’s Mountain Road, Long Valley. WARREN COUNTY:
ALLAMUCHY – The Allamuchy Fire Department will hold its annual Santa Breakfast on Sunday, December 3rd from 8:00 – 11:00am at the Allamuchy Firehouse on Alphano Road. Breakfast will include pancakes, french toast, scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, cereal, juice, coffee and more. Santa Claus will be available throughout breakfast for photos as well as handing out candy canes. Tickets are $9 for adults and teens, $7 for seniors, $5 for children ages 5 -12 and children 4 and under are free.
BELVIDERE – The Mountain Lake Fire Company is hosting breakfast with Santa on Sunday, November 19th, from 8:00 – 11:30am at the Mountain Lake Firehouse, Tamarack Road, Belvidere. Santa arrives by fire truck at 10:00am.
GREAT MEADOWS – a toy and food drive will be held at the Independence Township Volunteer Fire Department, 24 Cemetery Road, Great Meadows on Tuesday, December 5th from 5:00 – 8:00pm. The girl scouts will do the annual Christmas tree lighting and Dance Expression will perform. Bring an unwrapped toy and any non-perishable food item or grocery store gift certificate during this event and join us for refreshments.
HACKETTSTOWN – Breakfast with Santa at the Hackettstown Elks Lodge #2331, 210 Mountain Avenue on Sunday, December 10th from 10am – 1pm. Join us for great food including eggs to order, pancakes, bacon, sausage, and coffee. Santa will arrive at 11am. Tickets are $5 per person and children under age 12 are free. If you wish to bring a gift you know your child has been asking Santa for, please feel free to bring it along, otherwise Santa will have a gift for the children. HACKETTSTOWN – The Foundation for the Hackettstown Medical Center presents the first Annual Holiday Lights Festival on Saturday, November 18th on the campus of Hackettstown Medical Center, Willow Grove Street. All are welcome to attend this free community event!
Hackettstown Anesthesia Associates and Hackettstown Radiology Associates are the Celebration Sponsors and attendees will enjoy the following events:
- 4:30 – 6:30pm – Children’s activities will be hosted under a tent, including a very special arrival by Santa, arts and crafts and snacks.
- 5:30 – 6:30pm – A community reception will be held under another festive tent, with live musical entertainment, light refreshments and acknowledgement of everyone who contributed to the lighting of the campus.
- 6:30pm – The grand lighting of the campus will take place with help from Community Honoree Reverend Dr. Frank Fowler of Trinity United Methodist Church in Hackettstown; and Physician Honoree Dr. Michael Deehan, of Skylands Orthopaedics in Hackettstown. This will be immediately followed by a live FIREWORKS display set to music.

HACKETTSTOWN – on Friday, December 1st from 5:00 – 9:00pm the Hackettstown BID will host the 12th Annual Hometown Holiday celebration, in partnership with Centenary University, Fulton Bank of New Jersey, and Wells Fargo, and sponsored in part by Dunkin Donuts, The House of the Good Shepherd, Maser Consulting Engineering, and the Hackettstown Parking Authority. Activities include: Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides through the Historic District, Holiday Bazaar Shopping and Dining Tent, Businesses Open Late with Specials and #ShopSmall Offers, Centenary University Grand Illumination and Holiday Celebration, Santa Parade, Tree Lighting, Santa Selfie Station, Musical performances throughout Main Street area and Hot Chocolate & Treats.

WASHINGTON – The Washington Business Improvement District is hosting Hometown Holiday on Saturday, December 9th from 5:00 – 8:00pm. Santa will be on hand for two tree lightnings and greet families at Hometown Fried Chicken on Washington Avenue. Come to Washington’s Main Street, shop, see Santa, drop off a care package for the troops, and have fun. A musical performance will feature the Little Brass Band.
